UK viewers will be able to catch all the excitement and drama from the 2015 ASDA StreetVelodrome Series as it bursts on to BT Sport in October. The Series of four episodes will start on October 14th with showings on both BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 2.

The ASDA StreetVelodrome Series is the World’s most accessible cycle sport which brings the theatre and drama of Olympic style track pursuit racing right into the heart of the city with a unique pop up banked track.

This Pro/Am national series offers complete amateurs the chance to compete alongside pro riders, including Olympic medallists, in rounds held across the UK. Only the best will qualify to race at the all important SuperFinals in central London. But who will make the cut?

The television series has been made by cycle sport specialist production company Cyclevox and the executive producer was Olympic cycling presenter and StreetVelodrome ambassador Jill Douglas. Its a magazine style show with great on track action footage, rider profiles and interesting features on the topic of making cycle sport more accessible.

Viewers will be able to get to know the main pro riders featured in the series, including TV presenter Anna Glowinski and Olympian Craig McLean, and learn more about the amateurs who made it all the way to the SuperFinals.

The series will start with a double bill of Episodes 1 and 2 to be aired on BT Sport 2 on 14th October starting at 9.00am and repeated again at 5.30pm with further repeats scheduled.

Episodes two and three follow the tour as it makes its way right across the UK. In the fourth and final episode viewers will get to know the amateur riders who made it to the SuperFinals in central London.
